German Zest Fest @ the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival -- April 20, 2010
Just when you think you know everything about German wines, along comes Zest Fest to shatter your illusions. A sold out crowd of 130+ wine lovers indulged their senses with a funky jazz vibe by DJ Leanne, innovative food bites by Chef Rob Belcham and a wide variety of German wines from Henkell, Gunderloch, German Wine Estates, Schloss Reinhartshausen and Bürgerspital. Guests -- who included Hollywood stars and key journalists from across Canada -- topped off their evening by meeting the German Wine Queen herself, Sonja Christ, who joined the festivities all the way from Germany.
